Hey y'all! I know you were looking for coaching demos that are by not-students. I realized I had two I could share with you. One is the one from the presentation I did in July 2022. The other was recorded as part of an application to Rice University to coach their students. (I got the gig!) Both of these were real coaching sessions with real problems that I did not know before the sessions started. I knew and had coached both clients previously. Neither is a perfect session, if there is such a thing. I'd be interested to hear your feedback, if you feel like it.
Supporting the Emotional Needs of the Gifted Conference July 22, 2022
Here's the presentation and demo I mentioned around the end of class. The video includes the presentation, but you can skip to the demo, which is around 25:30, and it's about 20 minutes. As a heads up, we both talk with some jargon because I knew she was familiar with MBTI and some gifted concepts. You'll hear me stack a question here and there, and a closed-ended question or two. But I think it was good enough to share.
Coaching demo for Rice University May 26, 2022
Here's the one that was part of my application to Rice University. Apparently, when I do Hide Self-view on Zoom, I don't show up on the 29-minute recording, so you'll only see my client. (Luckily, Rice only needed audio.) There are two boxes because her computer audio wasn't working, so she was on computer for video and phone for audio. This client is a VP at a consulting firm and quite accustomed to the coaching process. Also, I was getting over laryngitis.
